Nylia Laney sent a photo of a mature bald eagle perched in an oak tree overlooking the retention pond at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Castleton area of Virginia Beach. Eagles and ospreys are actively engaged in nesting right now. Nelson Smith photographed a pair of ospreys in a nest on a light fixture at the Birchwood Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. Mike Weirich sent photos of a razorbill at Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach. 'I have never seen a razorbill,' Weirich wrote. 'Saw my second one this year.
